Introduction
My husband, Martin and I live in Cheshire, Martin is retired and I work full time. We travel quite a lot and we have successfully used house and dog sitters for a couple of years.
Our Home & Location
We have a beautiful new home set in 11 acres of meadow and woodland, surrounded by walks and nature.
We have three very well behaved dogs, Maisy a 10 year old Golden Retriever, Molly a 8 year old lab cross and Rolo a 5 year old Chocolate Lab. . All dogs love walks and plays, they are very friendly and welcoming. There are walks available from the house or local country parks....
Although well behaved Rolo cannot be left for long periods of time (she is a rescue dog and frets when left), a couple of hours max. She is also a world champion food thief so you have to be smart to ensure she does not eat what she shouldn't.
The house is not particularly suitable for young children as there is a large unfenced pond.
Our house has a large open plan kitchen/lounge area this is where we tend to live, the dogs have plenty of room and their favourite chairs. We have four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, our sitters will have use of a lovely guest en-suite with a shower.
We also have 4 rescue ponies on a paddock but you will not need to look after them as they are taken care of by others.

Responsibilities & Pets
We require our dogs to be looked after, this will entail breakfast (they are all early risers) and they will need one long walk (at least an hour) or a couple of walks per day. Walks are available from the house. They have a snack at lunchtime then dinner around 4.30 (Molly will demand it), they tend to snooze or mooch around the gardens and go to bed around 10.
They are really friendly and love cuddles, they are however strong dogs and you must be able to handle dogs on leads.
