Period flint house in beautiful downland village + 1 dog
My architect husband and I live in a pretty flint house in the Downland village of Eartham. It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and in a separate annexe there is a double bedroom, single, and bathroom.
There is a large walled garden, a playing field with tennis court and a a bountiful veg garden - we grow all our own fruit and veg and you would be welcome to enjoy it!...
The house has Wifi, several televisions, and a lovely terrace for outdoor dining.
Our gardener, Mark, comes once a week. + More info
Our Home & Location
The village of Eartham lies in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty.
It is approx 6 miles to Chichester and 7 miles to Arundel. There are great walks in the immediate vicinity, an excellent local pub, The George, and a very good village shop in the nearby village of Slindon. Main supermarket shopping is close by on the edge of Chichester....
Eartham Woods has miles of footpaths for the keen walker and is 2 minutes by car.
The garden here has been open to the public on occasions. It is a very peaceful spot but in a village location. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Dido arrived in August, rescued from a Greek island. She is 2 years old, very cute and affectionate but a little shy at first. She is cocker spaniel size. She loves to play and has learned all basic commands. She is very keen to please so training is going well. She needs a short morning walk and a longer one mid-day. Last thing at night she goes around the playing field. She sleeps quietly in her room.
Greenhouse plants may need watering, as will garden pots if it's very dry.
