Idyllic West Sussex Farmhouse
We are a family of 5 with children 5,7,9. We love our home, our pets and country life. Whilst we are away we want to know everything at home is being well loved in our absence!
Our Home & Location
We live in a beautiful and rural National Trust property at the end of a long lane. The location and views are spectacular. The house is old (1730) but comfortable and well maintained, think beautiful fireplaces, original beams and brickwork. Shops are a 5 minute drive away in Midhurst and same distance to the lovely Cowdray Estate. You can walk for miles from the back door in several directions.
Responsibilities & Pets
To love and look after our gorgeous home and pets in our absence! The dogs need at least one good walk a day ( an hour plus) of which there are several you can enjoy starting from the house. Biscuit, the Vizsla, is needy and incredibly affectionate -Vizslas are know as ' Velcro dogs' as they like to stay close! (he is only allowed on one sofa but tries his luck every day with the others!) and also lively so, because of this, and despite having three young children of our own ( who adore him and he is very gentle with them) we think it's best if we don't invite sitters with young children. He is the right height for licking little faces and would gladly do so all day long- not everyone finds this relaxing!! The cats are indoor and must not be allowed out! Cats have food left out all day and dogs require feeding morning and late afternoon.
