House in Southfields, SW18 with garden, Black Lab pup, and affectionate cat! (and 2 hamsters)
Hello! We live in Southfields, South West London in a house that is about 8 mins walk from both Southfields and East Putney stations, as well as a few minutes walk to bus stops in to Clapham Junction. We will be looking for a house sitter (full time) to live in over the Easter break this year (2019). We have no definite plans yet, but it's likely that it will be a 2 week break from end of April to earlyish May .
We'd normally leave our cat (a very affectionate, easy 10 year old moggie), and have someone come in regularly to feed and look after her, but we have now added a Black Lab pup to the family! She will be 6 months old when we go away, and we need someone who can ideally live in the house, take care of the pup, as well as feeding the cats/dogs and our two hamsters....
We're keen to find the right person(s) for our dog in particular, and hope this will be the start of a regular house sitting relationship!
Please get in touch and we can discuss in more detail + More info
Our Home & Location
Our home is a 4 bedroom house on a quiet road opposite a field, and has a garden with mature trees so is very tranquil and not overlooked. We have all the usual mod cons, and are very convenient for Southfields Village (and it's cafes, shops etc), as well as very easy links in to various shopping hubs, and good connections in to London.
Responsibilities & Pets
Ideally live in. Responsibilities will be to feed the Thala the cat morning and evening, and Indie the dog in the morning, midday and evening. Indie doesn't need huge walks and can be let out in the garden after eating in the morning, and walked in one of the local parks (5-10 mins walk) or on Wimbledon Common during the afternoon. Hamsters need to be fed, too, and perhaps cleaned out once if we're away for more than a week, but this is very easy, and they're pretty chilled. Otherwise, just generally keeping the place clean and homely (and taking the rubbish/recycling out on a Tuesday morning) although we have a cleaner who'd visit on a Tuesday!
