A Modern Detached Vicarage in Rural Hampshire
Hello, we're a family of 4 humans - and just over three times that many pets!
I'm a Priest here, my husband is an accountant and our twin boys will soon be 17.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a spacious 4 bedroomed detached Vicarage with a downstairs cloakroom, separate dining area, ensuite shower room with the main bedroom, plus family bathroom with bath and shower.
There is plenty of parking outside the house and a medium sized garden with a South facing patio are directly outside the sliding doors from the living room....
Our village is rural; there is a pub which serves good food a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away through a sheep field. We have great neighbours all around us. The nearest shop for basics is a little over 5 minutes, and a large supermarket is only 15 minutes away, with a market town in between the two. There are good road links to Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The dogs are fed at 8am and 8am (approximately) and all have a complete food followed by a drink of goats milk.
There is complete food left out all the time for the cats who come and go as they please through the cat flap....
The chickens will need letting out of the coop in the morning and the door to the coop needs to be closed to keep the foxes out as close to sun-down as possible. They have pellets and fresh water every day which is taken in at night to prevent rats. I'm afraid they are all around 4 years of age so freeloading and you won't get any eggs.
The rabbits have pellets - plus any greens you may have spare a couple of times a day plus water tops-ups when necessary.
The tortoise will need fresh water daily and feeding a couple of times a day with his supply, and his heat lamp will need to be switched on during daylight hours.
The fish just need a sprinkle of flakes every other day. + More info
