Now urgent Jurassic coast to look after my mix of pets so I can have a break after having cancer out standing Beaty are in devon
I'm recovering from recent Cancer treatment that I have had, and am now in a position to go and visit my daughter in Carlisle who I haven't been able to see in over a year! This is the main reason that I'm looking to have some wonderful sitters to come and look after my pets and home.
Our Home & Location
I live in a small 2 bedroom Bungalow. The Bungalow has a nice kitchen t with all the essentials a sitter would need for their stay. There is a modern bathroom with a great walk-in shower in it. As mentioned, there are two bedrooms with double beds. Any sitter would be welcome to stay in the bigger room, we could easily move out any stuff into the other room. There is a living room with Freeview TV and the house has Wifi in general. The garden is also secure, and the house has complete disable access.
The location is a really quiet rural location with some great country side views. It has actually been voted as an outstanding beauty. There is loads of history around the area which is worth looking at. In the area we have lots of shops and a supermarket to use. If you wanted to go for a day out, there are many bus routes and train routes to larger towns like Exeter, Seaton and Lyme-Regis.
Responsibilities & Pets
Tig (the dog) is really good and really friendly. She is very happy with other dogs and is good with kids. She loves going on the bus upstairs! We don't let her off the lead though. Generally she only needs a half hour walk during the day, and she will sleep for the rest of the day. We let her play in the garden (and will ask you to play as well!). She may need a want a walk in the evening as well.
The turtle is really easy to look after. All you need to do is turn the tank light on in the morning and turn it off when you either go out or go to bed. Only needs to be fed once a day....
The tortoises stay in the small bedroom. They are also really easy to look after. They get fed once day and have lights on the tank that ned to be turned on and off like the turtle.
We also have two budgies who are quite talkative and play with their toys. They won't need much looking after apart from just to check on their food and water.
Mertle the young cat is stays out most of the day and goes in the field. Her and Tig are best friends but will need to be fed separately (because Tig tries to eat her food). She is quite active and will sometimes like to play.
I used to rescue rabbits and have ended up keeping them! We have 6 of them, but they don't need much fussing over. They just need to make sure they are shut up properly at night and have enough food and water throughout the day. + More info
