We want belly rubs, cuddles, treats and walkies
I am ViV and am now in my sixties. I have lived here for nearly five years after separating from my partner of nearly 30 years. (We are still on good terms). We had two children Lee and Laura both grown up but not married.
Work has been varied, my partner and I ran an online craft supplies business for 7 years. (Fell victim to the big financial crash). I worked for NHS Direct for a few years after that I worked for the National Trust in one of their nurseries....
I have done volunteering for the NT and have been involved in the setting up and running of a community Farm. I used to be secretary of the local Allotments and Gardening Club.
Nowadays my life revolves around my garden and pets. + More info
Our Home & Location
Home is a one bedroomed bungalow with a fair sized garden, well fenced so Milo and Tess are safe in it. Situated on the edge of Broadclyst, it is opposite a public footpath /cycle path that runs 4.5Km past Clyston Mill and on to NT Killerton House there are some lovely river and woodland walks there and Ashclyst forest is close by.
The Red Lion Inn does very good food, there is a post office store, social club and there is something happening in the village hall most nights.
Responsibilities & Pets
Feed Dogs and Cat. Instructions will be left.
Walk Dogs (twice a day if possible) they both have lots of energy.
I normally groom dogs every day and cat (if she is in the mood).
If they roll in fox poo, please do bath them. Dog shampoo in grooming box and old towels bottom of airing cupboard.
Will need to hoover up, all three moult!!!
Bj (the boss) 7 year old female cat. Loves to curl up somewhere warm and quiet. She is definitely the boss. She will tease the dogs and get them in trouble when they chase her. She has a cat flap in the back door but often refuses to use it and expects the door to be opened for her....
Milo is a rescue dog unclaimed stray when he was approx. 1 year old. He is now 3 1/2 and a trusting, enthusiastic, friendly dog. He is a mix-up of several Terrier types with a bit of St Bernard somewhere in his Ancestry. He likes long walks and preferably able to run free or play ball with his doggy friends. He loves cuddles as well.
Tess the youngest and newest member of the family.
She is a Jack Russell / Cairn Terrier cross aged 7 months.
She loves food, playtime, chewing pegs, pencils, remote controls and shredding loo rolls. Likes to play with B but does not yet understand that cats do not like wrestling and often ends up getting her ears boxed. Her arch enemy is the vacuum cleaner and she has to stand her ground and see it off!
All three are neutered all are fit and healthy no medications. + More info
