Introduction
We are a retired couple. Hugh previously made pine furniture. Mary is a writer. We are travelling round Europe for two months to celebrate 50 years together in our 1939 Rolls Royce. It's a bit of an adventure so we need people to care for our home and two pussy cats.
Our Home & Location
We need some caring people to look after Piglet, a delightful little character without a tail, and Alice who sleeps a lot. Also the garden and plants need looking after and watering so gardeners preferably. Wayside is situated in a tiny, very friendly hamlet in mid Devon so all the attractions of the south west are easily accessible. However it is away from the usual touristy bits and beautifully quiet.
Responsibilities & Pets
As above we would like someone to care for our two cats and front & back gardens. This involves affection and feeding for the cats, lawn cutting and watering for the garden and our plants in the conservatory. The garden isn't huge and we have three small grassed areas. The rest looks after themselves apart from watering. Keeping on top of the weeds would be good and any gardener would know what to do about this.
