Surrey Hills Country house, cosy fires, village pubs, woodland and hill walks....
Hello, We are a family of four (two children 8 year old girl and 15 year old boy) and we will be away for some of half term in February. Sadly we can't take Basil our lovely dog with us.
We'd love someone to come and look after our border terrier Basil for 6 nights...
We have a large house in a spectacular location, in a village, within the beautiful countryside in the Surrey Hills. There is fantastic walking in the Surrey Hills straight from the back garden of the house, you don't even need to go out onto the road at all. We have a tennis court and table tennis available if the walking is not enough, and lovely cosy fireplaces in two sitting rooms. The two spare bedrooms are very comfortable and have ensuite bathrooms.
So, if you are a dog lover, and would like to spend a few nights in a beautiful and comfortable house in some spectacular countryside, please get in touch! + More info
Our Home & Location
Our house is in a village in the Surrey Hills and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's a short walk up behind the house to the top of the hill or into the village with its two pubs.
We have a tennis court (and table tennis) which you are welcome to play on if you're keen. The house is also very nicely decorated and comfortable.
Responsibilities & Pets
We would ask you to walk Basil (we live in the middle of the countryside so this is easy). He needs about a minimum total of 1.5 hour a day split over two walks, morning and afternoon. We would also ask that you also feed him and give him lots of cuddles.
He is an easy dog to take out, he is happy to go in a car and also to sit with you in cafes or pubs. He will soon settle down in these situations.
