Pet loving sitters needed for our beautiful house
Looking for someone to come and sit in our lovely house, to look after our two very different, lovely rescue cats. Pickle is a boisterous, outgoing boy and Molly is a reserved, quiet lady. They're easy to look after and neither have had any health problems.
Most of the times we travel, Charlie the dog visits his friend nearby, but there are times when we would like someone to stay and look after the cats and Charlie - the dog who never grows up.
We love our house and are sure you will too. We are near to transport to central London, plus there is lots of walking in the area.
Our Home & Location
We have a good sized, welcoming home. We are less than 10 minutes walk from a fast train to Waterloo. We are few miles from Kingston for shopping and Hampton Court for some culture and history.
We're close to woodland walks, fairly near the river for walks and to Bushy Park for the deer and other wildlife....
We have a decent sized Co-op grocery shop just around the corner, less than 5 minutes walk. It's about 15 - 20 minutes walk into a Esher town centre, which has plenty of restaurants, cafes, a cinema and a supermarket.
Inside the house There is a conventional oven and an Aga whic is on during the winter for that proper country feel. In addition there is full gas central heating.
We are in a no through road, and it is a quiet and friendly road - everyone knows and loves the cats too! + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Pickle and Molly are fed in the morning and on the evening. Their dry biscuits are left out and just need topping up daily. Their water also needs to be kept filled. They like to have company and Pickle is a bit of a lap cat. Molly is fairly selective in her laps, but will happily sleep with you.
If Charlie is here, he also eats at the same time as the cats. He eats dry food, one scoop twice a day. At bedtime he also has a couple of dog biscuits and a carrot (he loves his carrot!). His water bowl needs filling up and wiping down (he's a messy drinker). After a walk he has a bowl of water outside.
Charlie needs to be let out to the garden first thing in the morning and last thing at night. He need some a good hour long walk every day. If any day you're unable to take him out, we do have dog walkers locally but would need to know in advance to book him in. Charlie's used to being by himself too, and if left alone will happily sleep. Charlie is a stereotypical Labrador. Friendly with people and other dogs, excitable and bouncy. His favourite sport is ball chasing. Charlie sometimes has cloth ears (I.e. Chooses not to listen) and needs to be reminded to heel, and not pull on the lead....
We'd like whoever stays to keep the house tidy and clean, and locked up when the house is left unoccupied. We would like the post to be collected, and the bins wheeled out on Monday evenings for the collection Tuesday morning. During warmer months, some watering of the garden would be needed. There's not a lot else to do! + More info
