Country escape in Epsom with a cute Jug for company
Hi! I'm Ruth and I own a dog called Pepper who is a Jug (Jack Russell x Pug). She's an adorable little dog with a great personality. I do like a holiday and when I can't take her with me I'm always happier for her to be in the comfort of her own home whilst I'm away to reduce her stress.
Our Home & Location
I live in a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom top floor (2nd) flat in the Livingstone Park area of Epsom, which is located very close to Horton Country Park. There is easy parking here and a lift in the block. It is a quiet building set in lovely green surroundings with a view of London from my sitting room. It is about a 20 minute walk to Epsom town centre, and there is a bus that runs from Livingstone Park to Epsom train station twice an hour. Locally there is a small Tesco Express, bakery, fish & chip shop and chemist. Chessington World of Adventures is about 10 minutes away and London is an easy commute on the train in about 35 minutes. A car isn't 100% essential as there is easy delivery via Amazon or supermarkets for food, with local transportation Monday - Saturday. However, a car may be useful - depending on your levels of activity
Responsibilities & Pets
I'm after someone who would be willing to stay with my small dog, Pepper, and keep her company in her own home during my holidays. She is a lovely dog who is happiest sitting on your lap but also loves to go for a romp in the park (very close by). She needs about 30-40 minutes exercise a day, but I usually take her out for about 4 walks a day if I can, one being a long walk. I'd hope no vet visits would be required. It would also be house sitting to keep the house occupied and to take Pepper out whilst my cleaner in who comes once every fortnight. As we are still in the process of getting to know one another I don't leave her alone for more than 5-6 hours, so ideally I'd like someone who can also commit to that for me!
