Pet sitting near Hampton Court palace
We are a multinational adventure seeking family with young children who love travel... We also love our pets and recognize that we live in a great area which has fantastic outdoor walks, historical interests and a direct connection to London Waterloo
Our Home & Location
We have a lovely 3 bedroom home (admittedly a work in progress), which is a short walk to the Thames river, where there are super walks along the towpath. We are also about 1.5 miles from Hampton Court Palace. There are buses to Kingston for shopping, with the option of hopping off at Bushy Park to enjoy the deer, wooded areas, and playground for children. Across the road from us we have an open field, with an outdoor gym, and a public indoor swimming pool. If you fancy a pint down the pub, there are a few to visit along the towpath and The Bell in East Molesey which is over 400 years old. Christmas time there is outdoor ice skating in the palace grounds.
We are still in the process of sorting out our garden after building works. Assuming we'll be away at times during the winter this shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have a ball obsessed border collie who needs a daily walk, or a fair bit of ball throwing play across the way on the field. Karoo is very gentle, and mostly obedient (her downside is that she can go lie down in the river in protest at going home after a riverside walk. She likes to engage with all sorts of people/children so you find yourself striking up lots of friendly conversation. During the daytime we give her free run of the garden, but like to keep her indoors at night to ensure she doesn't bark at foxes.
Ciaro is a very vocal cat who is completely deaf. She needs feeding (as does Karoo) but comes and goes as she likes. She spends most of her time asleep but is surprisingly agile considering her age....
Both animals love cuddles. + More info
