The location is a small comfortable bungalow in a very quiet village location 1 mile from nearest village with a store and 4 miles from nearest town (Tewkesbury). There is a farm shop over the road (thurs/sat) and plenty of parking space.
We have two friendly dogs and require a house sitter who will walk and feed them while we go away working at ascot races
Our Home & Location
As previously described the location is very quiet and comfortable with easy access to local shops and a nearby town. Walks start the minute you shut the back door and can be a bit hilly but very beautiful views and ample space for dogs to run their legs off. There is plenty of parking space and a medium size enclosed garden for letting the dogs out safely.
We recommend any prospective house sitter comes at least the day before we leave so that we can show you the walks and local amenities....
A car is available to use under your own insurance which is ok to get mucky when you take the dogs off somewhere. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Our two dogs are very friendly. Paddy a 10 year old border collie loves balls and will play all day if you let him. He's very cuddly and will bark in the night if he hears anything outside (very rare). He usually sleeps in our room and is a good friend. Roxy is a 8 month old border collie x spaniel bitch and is quite lively. If you walk her 2 miles she'll run 6. she is learning to be obedient but cannot be allowed into a field of sheep without being on a lead. We always keep them both on leads when in or near sheep fields as the farmer over the road is still a friend.they need two good walks a day and as many as you like.
