House / Dog sitter needed in the Cotswolds
Hi We are Mac and Rita we have been together 15 years and try to take a break twice a year.
I am retired but worked for British Airways for most of my working life ....
Rita works ad- hoc for a private dental practice in town but when not there she helps with dog rescue .
We would really like someone who is about for a big part of the day ( not full time worker ) this is what the dogs are used to.
It would be good to meet the sitter before we go away as we really feel this will be better for everyone especially our dogs. + More info
Our Home & Location
We live 10- 15 minutes walking distance of Cirencester town centre.
We are on a bus route if needed, not only into the town, but also Cheltenham, Swindon, and Gloucester. Also to the many pretty neighbouring villages....
We are 7 miles from beautiful Bibury, a scenic Cotswold village, and close to Bourton-on-the water and other Cotswold attractions.
We are on a small private estate in a cul-de-sac. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Our 3 dogs are all rescues, Shansli is from Turkey and I saw her on the streets 6 years ago and was determined to bring this gorgeous pup home.
She followed me to the bank and sat by my side waiting so patiently as though we had known each other for years....
The other 2 are Romanian rescues.
Rags is wary at first meeting as he was very badly abused as a pup and when you know his history you understand why but the most loving dog ever , after an hour or two he will become your shadow and likes nothing more than cuddling up to you as do the other two.
Nero the youngest of the pack forgets he is two and behaves very puppy like. But he has had a few homes through no fault of his own before joining our family .
They are all very loving dogs but like all dogs have their moments.
We would like the dogs to be walked at least once a day, and fed twice a day.
We would like to have the garden and pots watered regularly as we do care for our garden, and keep it looking as good as can be expected with having 3 dogs. + More info
