Live in farmhouse, feed cats and birds, just check on sheep, no feeding at this time of year.
My husband and I live in a Devon longhouse on Dartmoor. Mardon Down is immediately opposite so easy access to walking up on the moor. We have a small flock of pedigree shetland sheep which graze our 6 acres. When we go away we like the animals routine to continue as normal.
Our Home & Location
We live in an old farmhouse in a small village on Dartmoor. We are only half an hour from the beach, from Exeter city and 1 hour from the nearest beach in Cornwall. There are lots of wonderful walks on Dartmoor and lots of super pubs and restaurants nearby. You will be staying in our guest bedroom with en suite facilities, downstairs.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have 2 cats which will require feeding.Outside there is a small group of poultry consisting of 2 geese, 6 ducks and 7 hens. They need letting out and feeding am and shutting in at night. We have a small flock of pedigree Shetland sheep, and at this time of year should not really require much at all apart from checking all is well. They are quite tame and will have access to the barn should you wish to handle them!
