Border Collies Bevyn and Kellie need a sitter
Our names are Richard and Ann Parker. I have recently retired from work as a Mobile Carer, to keep me busy I volunteer at Hereford Community Farm in Breinton(They have a fabulous Facebook page). We have lived in Hereford for 12 years now, moving from Berkshire. My husband transferred his job from Scottish and Newcastle to Bulmers in Hereford where he is a shift Manager. We love living in Hereford.
Our Home & Location
We live in a quiet area south of Hereford City. Only 2.5 miles away. We are situated in a crescent which has 5 houses. There is parking for 2 cars out front. The look out is wide and open from the front with a small field across the road and a large field 2 mins walk on our side where the dogs can be taken. It is a 4 bedroom house but one of the small rooms is used for storage. We have a large lounge with 1 double seater reclining chair and a double seat reclining chair. Plus a 3 seater settee. We have a large tv, landline, and wifi. The kitchen is large with 2 easy chairs. The patio doors open out on to the garden. We have a bathroom with a bath, and two ensuites with showers. We have a beautiful city to visit with lots of old buildings plus a new shopping centre with a variety of places to eat. The cathedral is a must to visit which includes the famous Mappa Mundi Map. There is also an Odeon Cinema. You can have a lovely walk under the beech trees along the river wye which also has wide open spaces of greenery for the dogs to run. The countryside is outstanding around Hereford. There is a bus service near by if required. There is a Tesco Supermarket 10 mins walk away.
Responsibilities & Pets
Put bin out on road on Monday for Dustmen. Which colour bin will be explained. Take out Bevyn and Kellie for good walks each day. Bevyn likes to take his Frisbee out to chase and catch. Kellie likes to run in huge circles like she is herding sheep. There is a field 2 minutes from us to take the dogs. There is a fine if anyone is not caught picking up after the dogs. If dogs need a wash there is a hose by door in garage which produces warm water, and towels provided to dry them. Cut the lawn if necessary. Bevyn sometimes barks in the night to go out to the garden.
