House and Cat Sit
I am a teacher living in Brighton with my two cats and I like to go away frequently during the school holidays. It is very important to me that my cats are well cared for and safe when I am away. I think they would find a cattery very distressing as they have never been away from home.
Our Home & Location
I live in a two bedroom terraced house in Brighton (in an area called Hanover) with a gorgeous little south east facing garden. There are frequent buses into the centre of Brighton and local amenities at both ends of the street within a few minutes walk . You can also walk into Brighton within 20 minutes. As well a as the shops and beach, Brighton is also situated near beautiful countryside. It is situated one hour south of London by train. There is restricted parking in my street so ideally you will not have a car (you don't need one in Brighton). It is a non smoking and preferably vegetarian house.
Responsibilities & Pets
House sitters would need to feed and look after my two cats. The cats go out into the back garden via a cat flap but they also use indoor litter trays. These would therefore need cleaning etc. Rosie has recently been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid and needs medication which is administered in her food.
I would also like house sitters to water the garden if needed (there is an outside tap so this is very easy).
