Central Brighton Flat with Fluffy Kitty Flatmate
Hi! We're Rachel and Dan and we're born and bred Brightonians in our 30's. We love music (as you'll see!) and enjoying everything Brighton has to offer, which is a lot! We both work in digital marketing and love to travel. Hence our profile on TH! We're off to explore Japan in July/Aug and we need a lovely person or couple to come and enjoy our garden flat in central Brighton so there is someone to care for our wonderful little fluff-face, Margot the cat. As well as this we have many plants we love dearly and need Margot's temporary flatmates to water them.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a 1 bed flat with a courtyard style garden which is totally secluded. It's in a really central area of Brighton, 10 mins walk from Brighton station and close to some of the best craft beer pubs, super cafes with the best flat whites and 2 min walk from the famous Duke of Yorks cinema. 15mins walk away from the Laines and the beach which is buzzing and lots of fun over the summer months. Our little flat would be perfect for a kitty loving single person or couple wanting easy access to Brighton fun!
Responsibilities & Pets
Margot the cat is a very independent little one! She doesn't like being picked up and isn't really a lap cat. She does come and sleep on the bed at night but if you don't want her to it will be no fluff her nose, she's happy bedding down lots of other places in the flat. She's been a house cat until recently and is only allowed outside in the back garden, not the front as she is not used to cars, roads, other cats! We would need her to be fed once in the morning with half a pouch of wet food, once with a handful of dry food around 6pm (but she is fine to wait for her dinner which would be before you go to bed, 1 half pouch or full pouch if not afternoon dry food). She likes to be a people and drink from a people glass which has a green rim and we keep topped up for her.
She loves a few games, namely chasing string or toys and pouncing on things. If you can get her running around the garden a little then she'll be happy!...
We have lots of plants and they all need watering. We usually water all the garden plants once a day when it hasn't been raining and everything inside once as well. We have a strawberry and tomato plants and if anything ripens up while you're there help yourself! + More info
