House/small animal pet sitting in quiet location within walking distance of historic town centre
My son and I live in a large detached 4 bedroom house in a beautiful location within easy walking distance of the historic town centre of Bury st Edmunds which can be accessed on walking/cycling paths without needing to use any roads. We have a variety of small animals who are easy to care for but enjoy company and freedom and so I prefer not to use kennels.
Our Home & Location
There is a king sized guest room and a guest single bed/study. The family bathroom has a bath with rainfall shower. We have a games room with table tennis table table, darts board and Xbox. All usual utilities are available - 3 TVs, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, wi-fi. We have a medium sized garden with a trampoline and a variety of bikes available to take advantage of the local cycle paths. The house is recently renovated to a high quality and provides a clean, comfortable and tranquil living environment.
Responsibilities & Pets
The pets are easy to care for:
The cats use a cat flap and just need feeding once a day and constant access to dry food. Ellie the parrot has free reign of the house (no cage) and is quiet, gentle and friendly. The rabbit also uses the cat flap and so no cleaning required (clever girl!), the guinea pigs have a hutch and run that will need a quick clean every day. The fish need twice daily feeding; the gecko and insects need food every 3/4 days and a daily spritz of water....
I have a weekly cleaner who cleans thoroughly every Monday morning. My gardener looks after the outside. + More info
