Two loving and friendly Tibetan Terriers, looking for caring sitters in Eastbourne.
Hi there, we are Steve and Glenda. We enjoy travelling, using our camper van, going on walks and keeping fit, and good food and wine!
We have two friendly Tibetan Terriers who love human contact, playing and going on adventures. We are looking for sitters who would take great care of them in their home, whilst we are away. They have a fairly set routine and need to be looked after by someone who will respect this and not allow them to pick up any bad habits!
Our Home & Location
Nicknamed ‘The Sunshine Coast’, Eastbourne is a popular destination for tourists. Whether it’s the Tennis at the Devonshire Park, the annual seaside Airshow or Beer and Gin festivals, there is always something to do in Eastbourne. Explore the South Downs (accessed from our back garden) and take in the breathtaking views at Beachy Head, enjoy a meal whilst overlooking the marina or take a stroll along the promenade and down the Pier.
Located in a quiet area, this unique 'upside down' house provides guests with a modern, light and airy space where they can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay in Eastbourne....
The large living room has fantastic views towards the English Channel, with a widescreen TV, surround sound, Sky and Netflix.
The newly renovated kitchen/dining area is perfectly suited for those who enjoy cooking.
The light and bright guest bedroom has a sea view, a King size bed with Egyptian cotton linen, widescreen TV with Sky and Netflix and plenty of storage. Guests will have the use of a luxury bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower, with towels provided for each guest.
Meads Village is a short walk away, where you will find a Co-Op, Tesco Express, cash point, two pubs, cafes, a Chinese restaurant and a number of other independent shops.
Eastbourne town centre is approximately 1.3 miles from the house, offering an array of shops and dining experiences. The train station can connect you destinations such as Brighton, Hastings and Lewes.
Eastbourne seafront starts at Holywell (1 mile away) and ends at the Sovereign Harbour.
There is parking available on the driveway. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Barney and Buzz are well loved and well looked after Tibetan Terriers. They enjoy human contact, cuddles and playing. Barney is a very wise and independent dog, whereas Buzz is often mistaken for a puppy due to his character.
Looking after them will consist of the following:...
Two raw/wet meals a day and ensuring that their chins/jaws are clean and dry afterwards as they eat wet food.
At least one 30 minute walk on the downs/hills in the morning with a shorter walk an hour after dinner in the evening, ideally this one can be just around the neighbourhood. Please note the following (you can access the South Downs from our back garden), by climbing 40 steps that wind there way to the top, without handrails!
Running the comb through their coats every couple of days.
Brushing their teeth once a week.
Washing their bedding once a week.
Ensuring that they stick to their routine each day and that they do not pick up bad habits.
Leaving them for no longer than 4 to 5 hours during the day.
Keeping the garden free of dog loos.
Playing fetch and catch with their toys.
Providing cuddles where necessary (Buzz is very affectionate, whereas Barney tends to do his own thing!). Although he is becoming a lot more affectionate.
With regards to the house, we ask that you do the following:
Collate the post.
Water a couple of outdoor plants.
Keep the house clean and tidy. + More info
