A sitter for Fergus
We are semi retired and like to travel. We have a lovely dog whom we would rather was looked after in his own home.
Our Home & Location
We’re in a four bedroomed , detached house in the centre of Navenby village, with off street parking and large rear garden. Shops and amenities are in walking distance, including butchers, bakers, small supermarket, newsagent and two pubs. The Lincoln Grantham buses run hourly during the day. For leisure activities there is the Venue@Navenby, a hub offering various sport and social activities, again within walking distance. This is a very friendly neighbourhood where people do socialise. Access to the open countryside (the Viking Way) is just a few minutes’ walk away.
Responsibilities & Pets
Fergus is still a puppy, 4.5 months old. While he has been toilet trained, he needs watching carefully. As with all puppies, he needs stimulus so lots of play and attention! He loves the garden, but please don’t allow him to dig large holes! Also, he is not allowed on the vegetable patch which is gated at the bottom of the garden. He loves the pond, particularly the taste of the water! That’s not a problem. Please ensure garden gate at side of house is closed when he is in the garden. He will need feeding three times a day and walking twice. When taking him for walks, please leave and enter by the back door into the conservatory. We are near a busy high street. Please discourage him from climbing onto chairs and sofas. He always sleeps overnight in the kitchen with the door shut. He is dry overnight so just let him out to go to the toilet, then he’ll be fine.
