Desperately seeking cat-loving female sitter to stay with Jazz - my feline companion - 20th to 22nd Feb. 2019
Hi, I'm known as Kitt, a retired social worker and therapist. I am 76 years old and living with a rather special cat, Jasmine (known as Jazz) who has recently adopted me and taken over the lovely little "one up and one down" terraced town house built in 1841 which we now share here in the small market town of Sleaford in Lincolnshire. Sleaford is approx. equidistant between Grantham and Lincoln City,
We are a 10 minute walk to Jazz's Vet Clinic, 2 minute walk into town and 2 minute walk to Sleaford Station, (East Midlands rail services). Approx 30 mins. by train to the historic and beautiful City of Lincoln. and just under an hour to the coast and holiday resort of Skegness. There are excellent bus services to surrounding villages and towns and coaches for travelling further afield.
Our Home & Location
Sleaford's history goes back to the Doomsday book (or so I'm told) and those interested in history, architecture and churches will find a rich diversity of buildings in this small but thriving town and surrounding villages. Castle Field with it's few remaining stone's of King John's castle, is just 3 minutes walk from here. Apparently Henry VIII enjoyed staying at the Castle.
Being in the heart of Lincolnshire, Sleaford sits in beautiful flat country. An ideal place for cycling, walking and riverside strolling. Sleaford boasts of Co-op, Tesco, Sainsbury, Iceland, Aldi, Lidle and Spar. There are Restaurants, cafes and pubs galore - spoiled for choice. And to cap it all, the river runs through Sleaford.
Responsibilities & Pets
Jazz would like feeding at least twice a day (plus her daily treat!) She prefers to drink rainwater but failing that "tolterates" (if you please!) filtered water. And Jazz is used to 24hr. access in/out of the house via catflap. P.S. ….. I do also put food out for the wild birds and our local squirrels.
