Holiday with Maddy, Jelly and Teddy in Liverpool
Hi we are Anna and Neil. We are a family of 7 (4 humans (us and our two sons) and 3 dogs). We have a busy life with a crazy but fun household. We love to spend time with family and go away with family throughout the year. We like to take the dogs where possible but do travel abroad and having had bad experience with kennels we like our dogs to remain in the comfort of their own home.
Our Home & Location
We have a 4/5 bedroom house in the centre of Crosby - a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and leisure centre (with swimming pool), 3-5 minute walk from shops and cafes and good transport links with Liverpool and surrounding area. The local station is a 5 minute walk from our house with direct trains into the centre of Liverpool ( 20 minute journey) with links nationally and to the Wirral from there. The beach has the Anthony Gormley sculpture 'Another Place' situated on it.
Our home has two reception rooms and a relatively large back garden with astroturf. The spare room is spacious and a TV with an Amazon firestick will be available for use. There are comfy chairs in the spare room and the lounge. There is free access to Wifi. There will be free access to a full equipped kitchen, bathroom and washing facilities.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have three dogs which would be included in the sitting. They are called Maddy, Jelly and Teddy. Maddy and Jelly are 8 year old sister Basset Hounds and Teddy is a 3 year old Sproodle (springer spaniel/poodle). They all need a short walk a day and Teddy would appreciate a second walk later in the day. There are two parks close to the house (one with a dog park) and the beach is close. They all enjoy a run along the beach. They tend to get very excited at people arriving and then quickly move to their standard position of sleeping on the couch. They sleep in their own room downstairs and are more than happy to go one their bed at night. They eat dried dog food and will need to be fed twice daily. The garden requires no maintenance. The house (downstairs) will need a sweep/hover throughout the stay and if possible the Basset Hounds would benefit from a weekly brush.
