Christmas and New Year Petsitter Needed in South London
We are looking for the perfect somebody to take care of our animal family members while we are away for Christmas and New Year, unfortunately we can't take our pets with us, but don't want to put Tank in kennels.
Tank is our amazing 1 year & 8 month old (will be at Christmas time) Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We have had him since 9 weeks old and he is a total ball of love with a great temperament and lots of energy. We also have 4 lizards, they just chill all day, but are cuties....
It would be preferable for us to meet you quite far in advance and to see how you handle Tank, and how he responds to you, as he definitely responds best to someone with natural authority and a person who will be as strict as we are,if there is any wavering in who is in charge, he picks up on that. This is the longest time we will have had to leave him with someone, and so for it to be enjoyable for all its important we find the right fit.

Our Home & Location
We live in a 1 bedroom flat in South East London, zone 2, within 5 minutes walk of 2 train stations and multiple bus routes around London. If you stay whilst we are there, then we have a blowup mattress and bedding, whilst we are away you can use our bed which will have all fresh sheets etc.
We will stock the fridge with the fresh essentials before we depart and leave towels and toiletries for you.
Responsibilities & Pets
We are looking for someone to take care of our dog and lizards.
TANK: We need someone who has time to hang out with and at the same time be strict (calm and assertive) with Tank. He is very much still in training, and we have noticed he likes to test new petsitters for the first 24-48 hours, so it is important to us that you have had experience with young boisterous dogs before. He is an absolute bundle of love and is very playful, but definitely looks to find his rank with new people. Tank will need feeding twice a day and walking/ toilet breaks about 4 times a day. During the night timehe can go without toilet for about 9 hours. He is toilet trained, but as we dont have a garden we give him the extra trips out. So ideally, he will be with you or you will be in the apartment for most of the day, we never leave him for longer than 6 hours, and very rarely during the daytime. There are lots of parks close by but he is also well travelled on the bus and trains....
LIZARDS: The other part is making sure the lizards have food and water and clean toilet areas (tissue paper) while we are away. They are pretty cool just doing their own thing, you can get T and Glow out if you like, but they will just walk about and climb on your shoulder ONLY if Tank is in his crate. Poison and Ivy can't really be handled, so they are even easier, just need to spray their tank and change their water daily. + More info
