House and dog sitter
We have an extremely sweet cross-breed medium-sized dog born May 2016 - part collie / part spaniel / + who knows; she is extremely good with other dogs, children and adults. We are reluctant to put her in kennels and ideally would prefer her to stay in her own familiar environment whilst we are away.We have a 2 bedroom house within short walking distance of Twickenham centre, near dog-friendly pubs and restaurants. There are several green areas near here, as is the Thames. We are also within a couple of miles of Bushey and Richmond Parks. Twickenham Station has trains into the centre of London in about 20 minutes, although we would prefer Reba not to be left alone for much more than 2-3 hours.
Our Home & Location
Situated a half mile from Twickenham town centre and very close to Twickenham Green, the river and other green spaces - there are many pubs and restaurants nearby and is a short distance from Richmond and Teddington. It is a 2 bed 'railway cottage' in a cul de sac with free parking. It has a small garden (concreted) which the young lady very occasionally uses for her toilet breaks. There is high-speed wifi and full TV options - all sports, films etc. We have nearby contacts in case of emergency.
Responsibilities & Pets
The house-sitter would be required to look after Reba's requirements first and foremost and keep the house clean and tidy - if the weather is dry, plant watering. Reba requires at least two walks a day, toilet options and love and affection. She has a couple of groups of dogs she loves to play with - one is about 5 minutes walk away, the other is a 10 minute drive, if feasible.
