Lovable Labrador Looking For A New Human Friend/s :)
We are a family of 4 .... I'm Julie and work in the rail industry based at Heathrow Airport, My husband Ewan is a retired police officer, but after being retired for a few months, he had finished all the decorating, so decided to go back to work so that I couldn't give him any more jobs! He also works at Heathrow Airport for an airline. We have 2 sons . Logan is currently at college and Regan is still at school. My mum used to be our dog sitter, but I sadly lost her last year, so we have to depend on other family members to help out which sometimes isn't easy with work / family commitments. I was introduced to Trusted Housesitters by a friend of mine who uses the services and praised everything about it, so I thought I'd give it a go!
Our Home & Location
We live in a spacious 3 bedroom, end terrace house in Hounslow, Middlesex. We have one allocated parking space directly outside our property. We have a large garden, which Bailey enjoys lying in all day! We have Hounslow Heath on our doorstep, which is great for dog walks. Hounslow West tube station (Piccadilly Line) is approximately a 15-20 minute walk away. This is a direct route in to either Heathrow Aiport or Central London. The areas of Kingston, Staines and Richmond are the closest town centres for shopping, restaurants and pubs and are easily accesible with a car or public transport.
Responsibilities & Pets
Our lovable, family pooch is a Golden Labrador called Bailey. He is 11 years old ..... although he still thinks he's 2! He is a very friendly, loving dog that loves attention and company .... a few ear rubs and belly rubs and he'll be your friend forever! He has never shown any form of aggression, although he can be a little bit boisterous and thinks every dog wants to play, which isn't always the case! Due to being older and overweight (he eats everything - typical Labrador I guess), he is happy with one 30 minute walk or two 15 minute short walks a day. He hasn't been used to being left for longer than about 5-6 hours, so a sitter that isn't going to be out for long periods of time would be best suited.
