Two adorable rag dolls, two lovely bedrooms
I'm a foreign correspondent for a British newspaper and I have two lovely ragdoll cats, Boo and Radley, who love company. My two bedroom garden flat is in Shepherd's Bush, London. I travel for work and have parents in Edinburgh, who Boo and Radley have accompanied me to visit several times. At eight months, they are getting a bit heavy for the train and it's a bit disruptive for them, so I would love to find housesitter(s) who can look after them at home.
Our Home & Location
My home is a lovely light-filled garden flat on a quiet and leafy street in otherwise lively Shepherd's Bush. The neighbourhood is west of Holland Park and Notting Hill, east of Chiswick and north of Hammersmith. It has fantastic transport links to central London and was recently celebrated as having the best food in West London. The flat is around 800 sq feet and has two bedrooms, one with an en suite, the other with a shower room off the hallway. The main living area is a loft-like kitchen/dining/living space looking onto the garden, which is quiet and private. The second bedroom can be made up as either a single or double.
Responsibilities & Pets
Boo and Radley are very sweet and playful cats. If you aren't familiar with ragdolls, they are known as "puppy cats" - they are not standoffish and will run to the door to greet you. They were born in March 2018 so are still kittens and can be mischievous. They need to be fed wet food morning and evening, the rest of the time they have dry food to graze on. Litter has to be scooped twice a day as Boo is quite fussy... They do like company and can be quite needy at times so plenty of strokes and snuggles! They are very interdependent and are fine to be left during the day as they have each other. Boo and Radley are essentially indoor cats but go out when I am home and able to bring them in before leaving.
