Therapy Animals, Horses, Goats, Rabbits & a Cat
We run a small charity from our home called The Little Explorers Activity Club which offers animal-assisted therapy and riding for all abilities. We have 3 ponies, 2 Pgymy goats, 2 rabbits and one cat all of which are great characters and very easy to handle. I am looking for someone with Horse experience though as you need to be able to confidently lead them to the field and back each day one at a time.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a 3 bedroom village house in East Farndon, the house sitter will be staying in our barn apartment that is currently rented out on airbnb but while we are away I'm happy for the sitter to use it and its a very comfortable space. 1 king bed and two singles in an open plan arrangement.
Responsibilities & Pets
Feeding the animals, taking the ponies to the field and back to the stable each day. There will be someone to muck out once a day and poo pick from the field but light duties of feeding and filling water buckets and clearing the odd dropping. Cleaning out the rabbits and feeding, and keeping an eye on the goats, they live with the horses but must be kept on the property and not up at the field in the village. Feeding our cat and cleaning the litter tray.
