Two easygoing dogs in Tonbridge
It’s just me and my 2 dogs at home now and I enjoy travelling and holidays! I no longer have anything holding me back but when I go away, I’d prefer the dogs to be able to stay at home where everything is familiar. Summer is now 11 and wouldn't cope in kennels. She can be quite sensitive to noises she’s not sure about.
Our Home & Location
Our house is on 3 floors and is a semi detached house in a quiet road in the north of Tonbridge, near to Hadlow. The rear of the house overlooks fields which is one of the reasons we bought it. It is very close to the beautiful Tonbridge Castle, with the Park behind. Also about 15 minutes drive to the trendy and popular Tunbridge Wells with it's shopping and boutique shops, coffee shops and restaurants and the Pantiles. There are buses to the train station but a car would probably make everything easier.
Not to far away are beautiful places like Hever Castle, Knole Park in Sevenoaks (where dogs must be kept on the lead because of the deer), Ightham Mote, Penshurst Place and others....
The house has high speed wifi and Sky TV along with BT Sport. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The dogs are pretty easy going. They need breakfast in the morning, a small lunch and dinner at about 6. They have a 40 minute walk each day (Summer has had knee operations and can't go too far). Other than that, they pretty much sleep and can be left for up to four hours, so enough time to explore the area.
So long as the dogs are happy and the house is kept reasonably clean and tidy, there is nothing more to do (other than the obvious things like putting out the bins on a Monday etc./picking up after the dogs in the garden)
