An adorable cat and a great garden in Canterbury, Kent
We live in Canterbury, in a late Victorian cottage with a garden (including a large vegetable patch), we have a wonderfully affectionate cat, Molly. She really appreciates company and we don't like to live her alone. We are a very international family and we travel often, in part because of my job (I am an academic).
Our Home & Location
Our house is near the centre of Canterbury and also near the train station, a good base from where to explore Kent!
It is a late Victorian terraced cottage (probably a railway workers cottage?), it has a garden at the back with a trampoline, a sitting area and lots of flowers. At the end of the garden we have a large vegetable patch with fruit trees and raspberries, a barbecue area and a parking space....
Downstairs, the house has an airy sitting/dining room, a kitchen and the family bathroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one double, two single).
The house is the St Dunstan's area, in a relatively quiet street, it has shops and the train station nearby and it's only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Canterbury. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We would need the house sitters to look after Molly, she is a very affectionate cat and really enjoys company. If the weather is dry, watering the garden would be much appreciated. She likes to sleep in the double bed but is usually quite reasonable and doesn't wake you up too early...
