3 Lovely labrador bitches
We have 3 Labrador bitches and some tropical fish and, now that the kids are at uni or doing their own thing, we are finding it increasingly hard to persuade them to look after the pets while my husband and I grab a few days away.
Our Home & Location
We have a large (6 bedroom) detached house in Southfleet, Kent which is a nice quiet village but with easy access to A2/M25 and Ebbsfleet station where fast trains to London take just 18 minutes. 10 minute drive from the big shopping centre, Bluewater.
There is a lovely pub in the village, The Ship and a more lively pub, The Manor Farm Barn on the main road. Both offer lovely food. 10 minute drive to the village of Meopham where there are several pubs, a big public park and lots of great walks.
Responsibilities & Pets
Our old lady, Ivy, is a 14 year old black lab. She is doing really well although she is completely deaf! She still enjoys a walk most days but can easily manage without. The 2 others, Molly and Poppy, are 3 1/2 years old golden labs. Molly believes she is top dog! They need quite a lot of exercise each day but you can sit and read the paper whilst they run around if you prefer. The dogs like breakfast around 8am and then have their main meal about 6pm. The tropical fish just need feeding once in the morning and nothing else will need doing for them as we would clean the tank before we go.
There are walks from the door but we tend to take the dogs in the car to more rural areas where they can run off the lead, all only 5 or 10 minutes drive away max.
