House & pet sitting near the seaside
Darren and I are getting married in April, 2019 and leaving to go on our honeymoon a few day after the wedding. We love our pets and would like for them to be at home whilst we are away with someone who gives them lots of love and attention.
Our Home & Location
Our home is located just a short walk away from the seaside in Sheerness, Kent. The house is a lovely Victorian terraced house. We love living here with some friendly neighbours around. We are close to shops and town if we wanted to go for a walk and do some shopping without using our cars. There are some lovely local pubs and small independent shops that we love as we love to support our small local businesses and community. That said we live in Kent ( the garden of England ) so there are so many places to explore including castles and gardens just a short drive away. Detling Showground always have big events and concerts on and it is just 20 minutes drive away. Maidstone is also just 20 minutes from us filled with restaurants, theatre, museums and cafes. Canterbury Cathedral and town of Canterbury with all its beauty is around 35/40 minutes. Our home is warm, comfortable and our pets bring so much love and life into it. You will love it here!!!
Responsibilities & Pets
Dusty is a Siberian Husky and she requires lots of love and attention. Dusty needs walking at least twice a day, there are great walks along the canal and the beach. Dusty must never be let off her leash as Huskies have no homing instinct and will just keep running. She is lovely, friendly and well trained. She is only a puppy at the moment but we are training her to be a very well behaved dog so despite her size you won’t need to worry - she will listen to you. She is currently in the process of being house trained and will bark at the door if she needs to go to the toilet. She still occasionally has accidents though. She sleeps in her crate indoors during the night and she is free to roam during the day. She also has a dog kennel outdoors so she is welcome to spend time either places.
Daisy is our very independent tabby cat / Queen of our home. Apart from feeding her she won’t need much from you. She is house trained and meows at the door / windows as and when she would like to go in or out of the house. She may come up to you for a quick cuddle but as I said she is independent and unlikely to stay on your lap for more than a minute or two....
We have some fish in an aquarium. They are low maintenance and apart from a bit of food they spend their days happily swimming around.
Overall we have some awesome pets who are truly part of our family. They will be lovely to you, cheeky, fun and will love looking after them. + More info
