Fancy a stay in the High Weald countryside but only three miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells?!
Hello, we're Sue and Rob and we love, love, love where we live but then again, we also love to travel! We have the complete privilege of living in the High Weald on the Kent/East Sussex border in the most gorgeous little village but have the absolute advantage of having the delightful town of Royal Tunbridge Wells only three miles away.
If you adore country walks, enjoy having a coffee in town as well as the opportunity to stroll along the beach, this might just be the assignment for you. There are more beautiful country villages than you can shake a stick at, it's ten minutes drive into town (four by train!) and we're just 45 minutes from the coast, if you fancy taking in the sea air....
YOU’LL NEED A CAR AS WE’RE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO PEOPLE TO STAY HERE TOGETHER. + More info
Our Home & Location
We have wifi, TV with a gazillion free channels, DVD and a decent sound system around the ground-floor rooms - Sonos - do you have Spotify?
We have a very comfortable home with beautiful views into the woods and across our little orchard. If it's winter-time, there's a wood-burning stove which is absolutely simple to use and will have you toasty warm in no time. Not that you need it as there's underfloor heating anyway!...
You'll have an en-suite bathroom and a king-size bed - all linens and towels ready and waiting. Our kitchen has all mod-cons (electricity and everything!).
Our setting is genuinely the best of both worlds - you can stroll the famous Pantiles of Tunbridge Wells in the morning, and then go for a beautiful country walk in the afternoon, or nip down to the coast - easy!

Responsibilities & Pets
We would be delighted if you would enjoy your visit while taking care of our lovely one-year old cockapoo, the happy hens and our pot plants and tubs in the garden, please.
Bonnie is an absolute joy. Almost quite well trained! haha! We know it's a bit nerve-wracking walking someone else's dog, so we have an extendable lead and wouldn't expect you to let her off it. The hens are very laid back (bad joke!) - you'll probably get four eggs a day - we hope you're hungry!...
No doubt you would treat our home with care and respect and might occasionally be able to put the Dyson round, etc!
We are looking for TWO people to sit, please. If you’re single and would like to stay - please arrange to bring a friend! (One of our previous house sitters was taken ill but had her husband with her, fortunately. We just worry in case you had a fall or were taken ill, for example, and there was no-one here to help you). + More info
