20 - 24 April - House in Urmston, Manchester looking after Olive (dog) and Liquorish (cat) and Eno (cat)
I live in a two bed house in Urmston, Manchester (M41 area). Suitable for a person alone or a couple. Close to busses into town, train (10-12 minute walk) to Manchester Oxford Road.
I have a dog (nearly 5 years - Labrador) and two cats (6 and 8 years). I am looking for a responsible person or couple with experience of dogs (particularly dogs who need quite a bit of exercise) and cats....
Our home is a Victorian house in a lovely street. There is a small garden at the back. + More info
Our Home & Location
Two bedroom (double) house close to Urmston Station.
Garden - small garden at the back.
Kitchen - There is an oven, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer.
Bathroom - bath with shower attachment.
Front room - quite large. Internet router. There is a TV.
My stuff: There is plenty of linen and towels. I will give you my wifi password.
The cats: Liquorish and Eno ( both female, spayed). Liquorish usually sleeps in the dining room. She is very friendly. I feed her dry and wet food once a day. Gets on very well with the dog, though likes her own space as well so will wander off in the neighbourhood. Eno and Liquroish don't get on so Eno lives upstairs in one of the bedrooms with food and litter tray. We put her out once a day so she can have a wander. I feed her dry and wet food once a day.
Dog: She needs to be walked in the morning and at night. She is fed dry food morning and evening. She is fine to be left alone for some time, especially if she has had an energetic walk in the morning/day. She sleeps on a bed in the front room. Very good recall, very obedient. She has never been left alone overnight and I would not want that for her. She is pretty quiet - not a very barky dog unless she thinks another dog is going to steal her ball and sometimes - if someone is at the door - she acts as a second doorbell.
Urmston is a very lovely area of Greater Manchester. There is a park (Davyhulme Park) about 8 - 10 minutes walk away. Lots of bars and restaurants. The train from Urmston station goes to Manchester Oxford Road in about 15 minutes. There are various busses into town. + More info
