4-bedroom cottage in the Cotswolds with two dogs and walking distance to a lovely country pub
Very happy family of 5 (children aged 15, 13 and 10) with two lovely dogs (Scooby the Jack Russell aged 12 and Risby the Sprocker Spaniel aged 1). We have never liked using kennels and used to use friends when it was just one dog but now we have two we'd prefer a trusted housesitter who loves dogs to keep them company when we go on our family holidays abroad.
Our Home & Location
Lovely 4-bedroom country house (in need of repainting which we hope to get organised this year). Three double bedrooms (one is en-suite) and a small bedroom with hi-rise bed and desk underneath. Two bathrooms, three toilets, drawing room, dining room, kitchen, playroom. Good sized, L-shape garden and front of the house opens on to a bridle path and open fields to walk striaght out into. Lovely local pub is a 2 minute walk down the bridle path. Drawing room has an open log fire and heating is gas. Wi-fi is currnetly quite basic but fibre optic due to come to the village in June 2018.
Responsibilities & Pets
Two dogs require two short walks a day which is easy around our local fields. Both on two feeds a day and biscuits at bed time. They cannot be left for more than a few hours as Rigsby chews everything still! They both sleep in the kitchen at night together. General tidy up and cleaning of the house would be a bonus and lovely to come back to!
