Help our hounds stay at home!
Hi! Our names are Mila and Paul and we live in the beautiful county of Norfolk with our two dogs, Icy and Gully. With my family dotted all over the country and Paul's in Canada we tend to travel quite a lot and would love to keep our dogs in their own home during these times, especially as Icy is getting older. If you have any questions about our home or our dogs please don't hesitate to ask!
Our Home & Location
As you can probably tell by the photos, we are in the process of moving house! Completion is just round the corner but we do know the area well as we are currently living just 5 minutes away. The property is a 3 bed bungalow with a 0.3 acre south facing garden, a garage and plenty of parking. It is a stone's throw from the town of Attleborough which has a little bit of everything in (petrol station, Sainsburys, Lidl, restaurants galore, coffee shops, pharmacy, train station).
Norwich is just under 30 minutes away, Wymondham is 10 minutes and any number of Norfolk's wonderful beaches are under an hour away.
Responsibilities & Pets
The dog's are pretty easy going (and are particularly lazy in the mornings!). Gully is obsessed with tennis balls and shouldn't be left alone with them as they don't last long that way! He will play fetch for hours (but 10/15 minutes a couple of time a day will do just fine). Icy is a very people focused dog and will snuggle up to you all day if she can.
They are fine to be left alone for up to 4 hours (just make sure they can't get to any food as Gull can be a bit of a thief!) so you can go out and about without too much worry....
Honestly, we're not asking for much, just someone to feed, water, play and generally take care of them, and hopefully enjoy our home and county in the process!
The chickens (all hens so no early morning wake up calls) are the epitome of low maintenance and love to just potter around the garden all day. The dogs let them get on with it without any problems although Gull will prick his ears up and take notice if they get particularly flappy about something! + More info
