North Norfolk House with Mabel the dog
My Partner and I live in Aylsham which is 10 miles from the picturesque North Norfolk coast. We are so lucky to live here the developing university city of Norwich with its young vibe is about 12 miles from us. And of course the famous Norfolk Broads are not far, our small day boat which you can take out for an adventure is moored about half an hour away. We have a character cat Neville and our adorable black lab Mabel. Ginger Tom Neville is quite self sufficient and if you don't like cats we can happily get a neighbour to feed him or he trundles off to the cattery. We don't go away much but occasionally there may be something where we simply can't take Mabel with us. We mostly take her. Coming up we are away for a weekend and Mabel needs company. She is a loveable Black Lab who we rescued about a year and a half ago. Bright eyed and loyal she loves walks and a ball throw. We are so lucky with National Trust Blickling House is 5 minutes away offering lakes and many treks and Walks. Our membership means you can park there free. Mabel is good off the lead and nine times out of ten comes when called unless a rabbit is calling! We live in quite a spacious 4 bedroom detached house and our neighbours are very good always there in an emergency as we are for them. Usual mod cons wifi, fairly spacious back garden with quick access for many walks on The old railway line Marriots Way.
Our Home & Location
Lovely walks The Marriots Way, Blickling and the beach nearby at Cromer. Mabel loves water and will splash about for some time I have to say before coming in to continue a walk. She is hilarious in the sea splashing around in a circle pawing the water as she goes!
Responsibilities & Pets
Living in our home and look after Mabel black lab. House is modern and usually runs itself. South facing garden, we love gardening and try to keep front and back as colourful as poss.
