House and pet sitter
Both Charles and I work from home, situated in the countryside with easy access to Oxford and London. We live in an old farmhouse and run a Medical Legal business from one of our out buildings. We have neighbours in the barn next door, who also have 3 dogs. I am an artist and have a printmaking studio attached to the business office. We are lucky to have access to a 50 acre hill to run the dogs every day. Whoever comes will need a car.
Our Home & Location
We live on a hill with an incredible, unspoilt view facing south.
We are situated more or less equi-distant from Thame 8 miles East, Oxford 10 miles South, Bicester 6/7 miles West and Aylesbury 12 miles Northeast....
There are amazing places to visit like Blenheim Palace, where the dogs can walk on leads around the park. Waddesdon Manor, Oxford, Bicester Village for the shoppers???
Markets in Thame on Tuesdays, Bicester on Fridays, Oxford on Wednesdays and Summertown on Sundays. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The last sitters kept an eye on the house, signed for parcels delivered by Phil the postman and looked after, fed and walked the dogs every day. They are fine (if walked) to be left for 1/2 a day or an evening if we go out for lunch or supper, a film or whatever. We ask the neighbours sons to let Ruskin and Basil out, if we feel we might be longer out than anticipated. Dodger the cat more or less takes care of himself.
But sometimes gets forgotten in the studio, so if Aphrodite come to clean its necessary to check the bedrooms and studio in case he's stuck behind the door?!
