Dog sitting for a black labrador and French bulldog in Oxford!
We are a retired couple who live in Headington, Oxford. We have a bouncy 3 year old black labrador who loves people and walks, and so would be very unhappy in kennels. We go away quite a bit and would feel much happier if we knew he was at home and being loved. We have a large walled garden and he is used to being outside for a good part of the day. We also have Bronson, a year old French Bulldog who loves cuddles and short walks and playing with Leo!
Our Home & Location
We live in walking distance of Oxford, so a great place to be! Buses go from outside our door into town if you don't want to cycle, walk in. We live beside two lovely parks so Leo and Bronson can chase squirrels happily and mix with their doggy friends on walks, off the lead.We have bikes, which you can borrow to cycle into Oxford or up the hill to Headington and the shops. Three theatres in Oxford, 3 cinemas, countless great museums, The Ashmoleon and the Pitt River are the best. Masses of shops, independent plus all the usual high street ones and the great Oxford covered market.
Responsibilities & Pets
Walk Leo for two walks a day, mainly off lead in parks, ( minimum 50 minutes each), keep the dogs company, housesit house, tidy up after yourself and do some light gardening/raking/watering the garden. Bronson needs just one walk a day and he is very happy to potter in the garden. The dogs are used to us being at home and so should not be left for more than 3/4 hours at a time.
