House/Dog sitting in the Cotswolds
We live in an old Cotswold stone house in a small hamlet of 14 houses between Woodstock and Chipping Norton. We have a five year old rescue dog, Mo, who is calm and friendly, a new puppy (from the beginning of August) and three cats. Both my husband and I work in Oxford - I am a teacher and he works in finance.
Our Home & Location
We live in a quiet, friendly hamlet. The nearest bus stop for services running between Chipping Norton and Oxford via Woodstock is about a mile away. The accommodation is en suite. We have a lovely garden with plenty of places to sit and eat outside and there are numerous walks from the door. There are a couple of pubs within 3 miles walk/drive and a good village shop and Post Office in nearby Enstone. Both Woodstock and Chipping Norton have a good range of shops and restaurants and there are several houses and gardens of significance nearby - Blenheim Palace; Rousham; Sezincote; Hidcote to name a few. We are ten minutes from the nearest train station (Charlbury - Paddington) or just under twenty from Oxford Parkway (Marylebone).
Responsibilities & Pets
We are getting a new puppy at the beginning of August so we’re looking for someone who is happy to take on this responsibility. Also, we are looking for someone to walk Mo every day, and feed the dogs, the cats and chickens. There may a some watering in the garden and if you would like to do some weeding, please feel free!
