Very sociable dog Ella and cat Felix in beautiful Oxfordshire
My name is Zuzana and I live in my house with my 13y old son Oliver. I am an IT professional working for a Medical publishing company in Oxford as a Quality Principal Engineer. My son is a typical teenager into music, Xbox, rugby, guitar, aeroplanes and WW2 and amateur drama. We both enjoy outdoors, cycling, exploring new cultures and cousines, and reading. I love cooking, independent cinema, art exhibitions and a good play. Occasionally we have a short term student lodger that would be typically based in Harwell science centre. it is always just short term in our small single room.
Our Home & Location
We live in a 3 bed semi with a nice garden not far form Didcot's town centre, park, leisure centre and train station. All reachable by foot. There is a parking on street in front of my house. Downstairs there is a more foral fron reception room with a tv. At the back of the house is a big open space kitchen/ diner / social area with bifold door onto the pato to the garden. There is also shower and toilet room downstairs. Both reception rooms have woodburning stove that's ovely in winter and cold eveningsIf you were to sit our pets for us I would make my bedroom available for a couple or my sons room for a single person. My bedroom has a double bed, view of the back garden hence is quiet and is right next to the ustairs bathroom. My sons romo is spacious and has a bay window to the street whih is not busy and also quiet. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there is the small single room upstairs. Our house is in South Oxfordshire 10 min by direct train to Oxford and 45 min to Paddington. 20 min to Reading. There is a large park 3 min walk from our house and a disused railway line ideal for dog walking and cycling that's 5 min drive or 10 min walk from us.There is a leisure centre with gym and pool 5 min walk from the house.Market town of Wantage, Abingdon and Wallingford are each 6 miles away. Wallingford and Abingdon ar e on the river Thames. Wantage has a link to King Arthur - his birthplace and is near Ridgeway that's popular with walkers. Pretty villages of Goring, Streatley(link to George Michael) and Aston Tirrold (Tim Henman lives here) are all nearby. Plenty of lovely Oxfordshire villages and pubs nearby.
