House sit with two dogs near historic Oxford
My husband and Eddie and I live near Headington on the edge of Oxford with our two dogs, Elphie and Leia. We rescued them about 18 months ago, and they bring a lot of fun (and some mischief!) to our world. We both work for a charity.
Our Home & Location
We live in a 3 bedroom semi detached house on the edge of Oxford. On one side we have beautiful countryside, including nearby Shotover Park, and on the other the historic city of Oxford. We are on good bus routes into the city centre, and with a bus stop to London and major airports within walking distance.
Our large garden is a peaceful place to relax in the summer, and our neighbourhood is quiet and suburban. We have one downstairs bathroom with bath and shower. The large kitchen area has a dishwasher and dining space. We have wifi internet. We would arrange for our cleaner to visit the day you arrive and the day you leave to minimise work for you.
Responsibilities & Pets
We need someone to look after our two dogs. They are active and need at least one good walk every day, and plenty of cuddles, but they are used to being at home on their own for 3-4 hours at a time. We have a large garden for them (and you) to enjoy between walks. Our Beagle Elphie likes cuddles and belly rubs and is very sweet natured, but does have some bad habits around stealing food. Our spaniel is super sweet and loves chasing balls and toys, but is full of energy. They are both good with kids and gentle.
If someone was willing to water our patio plants that would be a nice added bonus.
