Super friendly 2-year-old lab-spaniel cross in a beautiful historic home
We are a busy family of 5. I am an architectural historian and editor, and my husband is a finance director. Occasionally we go away for holidays and weekends where it is difficult to bring Paddy with us. The ideal solution is for a kind and dog-friendly person to live in our house and look after him (and it!) while we are away.
Our Home & Location
Our house is in the centre of the village, overlooking a large field and around 3 minutes walk from the pub. In the village is a garage, fruit and veg shop, cafe, two pubs and a post office. The house itself is timber framed and has been restored over the course of the 7 years we have lived here. No work is ongoing.
Responsibilities & Pets
Paddy needs to be walked twice a day, and he has meals in the morning around 7am and in the evening around 6pm. He is a very affectionate dog, and loves attention. He has his own place to sleep, and is not allowed to go upstairs. The only responsibility in the house is to make sure it is as clean as it was when you arrived. For longer stays we will provide information about putting out bins and so on.
