500 year old Oxfordshire Cottage
We are a couple aged 50 and 64 living in a pretty 4 bed roomed cottage that nestles in a beautiful valley, with the main part of the house dating back to 1634, although it has been completely modernised by the owners.
Our Home & Location
Our cottage is in a small village a mile outside Henley on Thames. It is next door to a pub which has a Michelin star if you need feeding and don't wish to cook. The area is one of outstanding beauty and the local train station in Henley Town will take you to London Paddington station in 50 minutes if you wish to visit the capital.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have two Burmese cats, Monty and Lolo who, typically of the breed, need a lot of cuddling and human interaction. They are also quite vocal and gentle. During the day, they will probably be out hunting rabbits, but will demand food and fuss when they return home. They have their own sleeping area, but will prefer your lap all evening until your bed time. They are not allowed upstairs in any bed room.
