Cat Slave Needed for HRH - Reading, Berkshire
We would love it if someone would be able to look after our little Munchkin whilst we are away. Our fluff ball is a very easy care cat, as long as you 'bow' down to him and feed him sufficiently then you can't go far wrong!
Our Home & Location
We live in a traditional 1930s 3 bedroom semi-detached house on a nice tree lined private road 1 mile west of Reading town centre. We have a guest bedroom with a double bed and one family bathroom with a large double shower. There is a separate cloakroom downstairs and a nice kitchen diner which is well equipped. We have a nice little garden which can be enjoyed 'Al Fresco' or from the confines of the conservatory. It takes 25 minutes to walk into Reading town centre (with an alternative hours walk along the canal and river which is rather lovely and only 10 mins away). This also acts as a great bike route as it can take you all the way to Sonning or the opposite direction to Newbury. Alternatively there is a very regular bus service at the end of our road which offers an easy 8/10 min bus ride into town. Reading is great location for exploring the SE as London is only a 25 min train journey, Oxford is approx 40 mins and about the same for Bath and Windsor. If you have a car then you don't have to drive far in either direction before you hit the countryside where you can find some lovely walks and pub restaurants!
Responsibilities & Pets
Our cat is 13 now and get's rather stressed when we go away. He's not a huge lap cat but he does like to know you are there. He's very patient but quite sensitive to change and being mostly deaf he can startle easily so we try not to walk up behind him as he will literally jump out of his skin! He's actually very easy to care for as he needs feeding in the morning and evening and will generally enjoy a lap for about 10 mins or so and then he generally sleeps all day. I am very house proud and whilst we don't live in a palace I do work hard to look after what we have so I would just ask you to please respect our home accordingly.
