Cat Slave Needed for HRH - Reading, Berkshire
We would love it if someone would be able to look after our little Munchkin whilst we are away. Our fluff ball is a very easy care cat, as long as you 'bow' down to him and feed him sufficiently then you can't go far wrong!
Our Home & Location
We live in a traditional 1930s 3 bedroom semi-detached house on a nice tree lined private road in just outside the centre of Reading. We have a guest bedroom with a double bed and one family bathroom with a large double shower. There is a separate cloakroom downstairs and a kitchen diner. We have a nice garden which can be enjoyed 'Al Fresco' or from the confines of the conservatory. We are a 25 min walk from Reading town centre (with an alternative hours walk along the canal and river which is rather lovely). This also acts as a great bike route as it can take you all the way to Sonning or the opposite direction to Newbury. Alternatively there is a very regular bus service at the end of our road which offers an easy 10 min bus ride into town. Reading is great location for exploring the SE as London is only a 25 min train journey, Oxford is approx 40 mins and about the same for Bath and Windsor. If you have a car then you don't have to drive far in either direction before you hit the countryside where you can find some lovely pub restaurants!
Responsibilities & Pets
Our cat is 13 now and quite independent and nonchalant in a typical cat-like way! He's very patient but quite sensitive to change and being mostly deaf he can startle easily so we try not to walk up behind him as he will literally jump out of his skin! He is a little fickle and will sometimes turn into a lap cat but not always, he does however like company and to know you are there and always likes to be in the same room as you. He's very easy to care for, he needs feeding in the morning and evening and then he generally sleeps all day.
