I’m Dennis and I’m adorable
I live alone with my cat Dennis so when I go away he needs someone to care for him. Usually I have a friend who sits but on occasions she is unable due to work commitments and because she has animals of her own. My cat has orofacial pain syndrome and requires meds twice per day. My normal sitter could show how best to do this but any sitter needs to be comfortable giving meds. Dennis is an elderly gent and needs to stay at home.. any stress could trigger his problem. Although the cat flap is always open he prefers home comforts and is very loving.
Our Home & Location
Salthouse is in a beautiful part of North Norfolk between Cley and Kelling. There is a shingle beach a short walk away. The coast hopper bus is a short walk away too. There is a fantastic pub and the views from the house are stunning. My home only has one double bedroom. The stairs are steep and tight but other than that it is roomy for a one bedroom cottage. There is also a shop in the village.
Responsibilities & Pets
The sitter is required to give Dennis medication twice a day. He usually accepts this disguised in a treat but if he is having an awkward day then the sitter needs to be comfortable giving him it orally. He has to have the medication otherwise it could set off a pain attack.
