Pet and House sitting in South Yorkshire
A pet and house sitter is required to look after our lovable 9 year-old black Labrador Meg whilst we are on vacation, as well as making sure the house is secure. Because of the fairly remote location of the property the assignment is ideally suited for a couple with their own transport.
Our Home & Location
Our 3-bedroom house is located at the side of a golf course to the east of Sheffield, remotely located with regard to neighbours, and with very limited public transport so a car is essential. The house has a large fully fitted modern kitchen, lounge, dining room, study and sun lounge downstairs with satellite TV and limited satellite broadband. A 5 minute drive to the M1, and 10 minutes to the A1 gives good access to the amenities of Yorkshire, Derbyshire, North Notts and Lincolnshire. The house is generally in open countryside with many local walks without the need of a car.
Responsibilities & Pets
We would expect the house sitter to feed and walk Meg twice a day (early morning & late afternoon) locally from the house, and generally look after her welfare as well as keeping the house clean, watering indoor plants etc. but leaving plenty of time for your own activities.
