Grade II listed Cottage on the edge of Sheffield and the Peak District
John and I are semi-retired Antique Dealers. We spent over 20 years living in France renovating old properties, and now back in Yorkshire renovating my family home, which I have recently inherited after taking care of my Mother for 4 years. We hope to spend more time now travelling the UK staying in Landmark Trust properties, and exploring museums, art galleries etc. Also visiting friends and family who are spread throughout the UK
Our Home & Location
Our current house is an annexe to the main house where we have lived for 4 years, we are renovating the cottage, and hope to move in Summer 2018, and will upgrade our photos then. We have a Shepherds Hut in the garden which sleeps 2. We are on the edge of Sheffield, with the centre of the city 15 minutes away, and the Peak district 10 minutes away, with Chatsworth House 20 minutes drive, one of our favourites.
Responsibilities & Pets
Our dogs Holly and her daughter Lily are very friendly, energetic small Cocker Spaniels. They have two long walks a day, on the golf course behind our house, which is like a private park, and has public footpaths running through, so not necessary to use a car. They are not fusser eaters, love cuddles, and enjoy playing in our large garden.
