House-sitter wanted for cat and house in Whitechapel
I am very fond of Scotland so will usually be going on trips there. I used to be an academic, so love books. Im in transition from being a paid employee, and also caring for my late parents, to being semi-retired, but I am getting a small seaweed business going!
Our Home & Location
My house is a modern two-bedroom end of terrace house in Spitalfields/Whitechapel, East London (UK). Its about half way between Liverpool Street Station and Whitechapel Station (10 mins walk). Aldgate East is also close by, so there's options to use many trains (underground, overground...) and there's a lot of buses too. The area has lots of history and the house is 5 mins walk from Brick Lane, which is famous for its curry houses, cafes, markets and creative graffiti! I have a very small garden with a few vegetables growing in it.
Responsibilities & Pets
My cat, Mr Stray, is quite independent (he has a cat door to go in and out the house by himself). He was a stray so needs to be allowed to get to know you slowly. He does sit on laps and purr but only if he knows you well! He normally eats food that is from sachets, so is, I think, quite easy to look after.
