Tiny Farm in Wiltshire
My husband and I run this tiny farm as a hobby.
When we go away we try to leave everything as simple as possible to do. But there are always the Dogs to walk, and we need someone sensible to check the stock each day.
Our Home & Location
We aim to only go away in the summer, so there is no drama with having to keep the solid fuel rayburn going. We have a 4 bedroomed farm house with utility, kitchen, dining room and lounge downstairs. We have a shower room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs.
Bradenstoke is a small village. The nearest bus stop is a one mile walk away. There is a pub in the village, but no shop.
Responsibilities & Pets
As we only go away in the summer months, all the cattle and sheep will be at grass on the Farm in Bradenstoke. We do have some other land on Lyneham Banks (about a mile away) and it might be necessary to look at stock there too. Its just a matter of checking the stock are all standing up and they have water.
The chickens need letting out in the mornings, and putting away at night, and their food and water checking....
Horses normally don't need anything doing - just check they are standing up
Dogs need to be fed twice a day and walked twice a day + More info
